Thoughts Too Large to Post Elsewhere |
Whenever my thoughts run over the character limit of on other sites, I need a place for them to go. What better place than Tumblr? |
In order to read .txt, .(x)html, and .epub ebooks on a Noka E72, I recommend using a copy of Albite Reader. There are two possible epub readers for the Nokia E72, and Albite produces the best looking pageview:

On the Albite Reader website, the Nokia E72 is mentioned, yet I’m going to link to the direct download file to save you some time.

Since this reader was created by one man, working for free, it is understandable that he doesn’t have documentation for how to use it one each and every phone that it works on. Here are some quick things that Nokia E72 owners need to know:
- Each and every time you open a new book on the reader, you need to click “Yes” to give FIVE (5) separate permissions to the reader. Three read permissions. Two edit permissions. Not in that order. This is annoying, but the alternative other program is worse.

- To access the menu of the program, you will need to click in the center NaviKey/square. The menu has the ability to open other books

as well as quit the program.

- To go to the next page of your book, you can either click to the right on the D-pad or can press the G/5 key.
- To go to the previous page of your book, you can only click to the left on the D-pad.
Hope this helps any other Nokia E72 users. :) :) :)
To get (free) books to read, check out ManyBooks.net and download books in .epub file format.
